Supporting Jocelynn
Hello, My name is Jocelynn! I have always been into art since I was really young. I have always drawn but recently started water color paintings a few years ago. Today I am 12, well almost 13 and I follow quite a few artists. My inspirations started with watching Miyazaki films and then anime as well as looking at other artists. I started with sketching and using charcoal then went to water colors. I practice all the time and I really enjoy it! I still need to get use to it but I think with more practice, the better I can be. My parents made this website for me so everyone can see my art and watch my stages of improvement. The website is to help fund me for college as I would love to go to an art school when I get older. Any donation is great and I hope that one day I can become an artist too.
My name is Brian and I am Jocelynn’s father. Her mother and I have created this website designed to mainly support our daughter in continuing her interests and encourage her talent. Both her Mother and I have an art background from graphics to crafts. We are strong believers of following one’s talent and earning a great education. As children, all of us have goals and dreams. How many of us get stuck in a job that eventually becomes an unsatifying career? We know, with the right encouragement, she can continue to strive and get the needed education that will make her happy. Our main focus when creating this website was not to request donations but to display her artwork as a young upcoming artist. Through this website, we have made it possible to support Jocelynn on her journey in several ways. You can encourage her through positive comments and cheer her on. You can simply view her art and share this site for others to enjoy and if you really enjoy her art, you can make a donation. To show how appreciative we are of your contributions, you will receive a complimentary 8×10 print of your choice of art from this site with every $50 donation. We believe if we start early, she will have no doubt that she could attend any art school of her choice. Whom among us had dreams of becoming the astronaut, the fireman or even a police man? We as parents are willing to create a running website and take the time to support her because we believe she can go far. We want this to be her goal, not just a dream. Please leave comments or words of encouragement for her. Thank you.
